I just got my blue belt and my professor gave Fuji belts to all of the people who got promotions. I really like the feel, and it stays tied better than the tatami white belt I used to have.

What are your experiences with different belt brands? I'm looking to buy another.

Killer Bee- gi material. It stays tied awesome, feels awesome, everyone compliments mine. Going to buy one in a purple belt soon for motivation to keep going through the blue belt blues.

I have an Isami that I ordered from choke sports. I really like it. IF you can find the older hayabusa belt, thats also a sweet belt. I've also had a scramble before.

I really like my Killer Bee gi material belt. My WAR blue belt was also awesome.

Padilla and Sons are also gi material, good colors, and durable as hell. Stays tied the first day and lasts forever, ages really well too (the color fade looks pimp). And cheap.

I have a made in Japan Isami, as well. I like it, but its already fading, and I've only been a brown belt for a couple months. I'm on the mat a lot, but come on, buuuuuuuud.

Don't most people like them to fade? I've been a blue belt for two years and my Isami belt looks like it came out of a warzone. Looks boss.

have a koral brown belt. The color faded like crazy and looks kind of gray now.

If you want to drop a bit of money -- and this is more commonly done by higher belts -- Eosin Panther and Kataaro are the way to go. I have an Eosin Panther and am in awe of the quality.

You will not find a higher quality belt than Eosin Panther. However, they are not cheap. A less pricey alternative would be Keiko or Ronin.

i ended up ordering the killer bee. it was relatively inexpensive and a few of you have expressed satisfaction with it, so i'm looking forward to breaking it in as soon as it gets here.

I have a mizuno that I wear for competitions and I train in it here and there. awesome belt

I have a killer bee gi material belt and I get compliments on it regularly. To be honest though I have not had the same experience with it staying tied as others have. I feel it comes loose just like every other belt I've owned. I do like the feel of it and I think its worth the money.

I like the green gi stuff

My .02 cents.
Venum belts look dope as hell but are ultra uncomfortable.
They are so tight that they are a pain in the ass to tie, and the knot digs on your belly when you end up belly side down on the mat. They get untied a lot.

Fuji belts are on the other range of the spectrum they are very flexible.
Gameness belts are in between and the hold the color well.
Koral belts feel the best but they get discolored ultra fast.

I'm a personal fan of Gameness belts. They're thick, stiff, and well built... literally LOL... and they stay on great if tied PROPERLY. Awesome belt once broken in IMHO.

Let us know what you think- but I'm pretty sure you will be pleased.

Tie it with the "lockdown"
