Because the notion is that the school board covered up the act because it was a trans kid so people wont see the connection between the bathroom policy and the girl being raped in the bathroom.

Ultimately nobody really cares about whether the rapist is trans or not, except people trying to somehow use the situation to criticize conservatives. The important question is whether or not a rapist was allowed to go into the womens bathroom and, if so, why? And then why cover it up?

Correct me if I'm wrong but none of what has been alleged here has been specifically substantiated, and a statement from the police pointed out that there was a tremendous amount of misinformation being circulated.

If by men in bathrooms you mean trans folks, those transitioning, etc. then no it’s not due to anything recent. Those folks have been using the bathrooms they identify with since forever.

I don’t think any social norms have recently been thrown out the window to cause hazing, I think that’s a phenomenon in sports for young people that’s been downplayed and not commonly addressed or properly punished for a pretty long time.

I don't agree with all the measures put in place to support the trans community, especially not involvement in competitive sports, but I think the bathroom issue isn't an issue. There's a decade of history in New York state that proves it.

i disagree. there have been rapes and nudity paraded in front of little girls in women's bathrooms due to these stupid policies. no girl or woman should ever be subjected to even a little bit of it. its completely absurd and stupid and unnecessary. single use non gendered bathrooms wherever possible is a much better solution.

i would not stand for even a tiny bit of abuse directed towards a trans gendered person out in the public. i would risk my own safety to defend them from it with conviction. but all of the rest of this is insanity.

I don't believe anything, I don't think anything has been proven yet. All of this is coming from a single writer for the Daily Wire who is filling in the blanks with claims he can't substantiate. Haven't I already said it's possible all of this happened exactly as described? Add to my cause for hesitation the statement from the police that an enormous amount of misinformation is being circulated regarding these issues.

It isn't this particular issue the left (used to be my side, but don't pick teams anymore) is wrong on. This issue is a symptom of the cancer that's political correctness.

If you take a dogmatic approach to tackling any subject you're gonna make mistakes in handling it. The left is viewing these new conversations the same way the right used to. The police said he's been charged with felony aggravated sexual battery, I don't think it will be a secret if he's successfully prosecuted, like there will be a situation where no one will know one way or another, including the father.
