When I played college football the 320 pound offensive line would to to this 5.95 Chinese lunch buffet on campus and clean the joint out. The owner would try to close the place when he saw them coming. Who's right? The fat guys or the business owners?
I'd say fat people are in the right here. This is the risk business owners are taking when they are offering the buffet.
If the guys are getting a lot of food and not eating it then they're being dicks. However, it's the business owner's responsibility to have a business model with policies in place to help make their business successful. If how much food these guys are eating/getting is an issue then the owner should place a limit on food instead of making it all you can eat, raise prices, or do something else to curb the issue. I know 'All You Can Eat' is pretty common for Chinese buffets but a buffet charging $5.99 with something like a 3 plate limit isn't unreasonable and I doubt there'd be a giant backlash unless the majority of patrons are just flat-out pigs.
A 5.95 buffet sounds like a failing business plan, even if the only clientele allowed were 115lbs college girls. allow one male in there and that place is going tits up.
