i've gotten a position with the local police department's crime lab so from here on out i'm keeping it clean with all my internet activity since I have no real idea how close of tabs big brother will be keeping on me.

it should be known, however, and without sounding like a total vag, that i wouldn't be where i am today without a shit tonne of help from a lot of people here. the knowledge and guidance this forum has provided me in terms of training, motivation and goal-setting has been remarkable and the opportunity to correspond with some abnormally strong motherfuckers has been an enormous privilege.

    thanks to:

Carnal for giving me my first, volume-intensive program that ran me straight into the fucking ground after 2 weeks.

Urban whose ghetto angelfire website was my first source of strength information which finally persuaded me to move from bb splits to lifting heavy

fat wilhelm & finnegan who provided me with my first cookie-cutter strength and conditioning programs where i started noticing some major gains

DEVILSSON, Ascendant & younggunz for helping me identify specific goals and how to set a path to reach them. these 3 guys are the shit.

    KW for his badass articles

and lastly vince89, ChaseT & Donut62 for always providing a laugh

i'm sure i missed some, but that's fine.

    have a good one,

things you are allowed to talk about on the internet when you are a cop: eating healthy food, lifting weights

things you are NOT allowed to talk about on the internet when you are a cop: doing drugs, killing people

I'm sure you wont get fired for posting here

Best of luck with the new Job.

Although a number of other posters here work for the police with no issues. Hell, Midmo posts many pictures of hot women, while at work.

one of my coworkers said 2 people got fired for having either myspace or facebook, and the only people on their friends list were family members and they had no content on their page that could even begin to be considered shady. pretty weak, i know.

inputting and cataloguing various fibre, fingerprint and DNA sources into databases, preparing reports to be later used in court, fingerprint dusting and matching...blah blah. sounds boring as shit but its $22.51/hr and a nice entry level and stepping stone for bigger things.

technically i'm not even qualified to work there as i need at LEAST minimum 2 certificates from a local technological institute before i can even set foot in the place, but since i did a lot of volunteering with the local department and had a BA in Crim with some relevant experience they let me in and over the next 4 months it will be on-the-job training.

Good luck man. From what I hear, if you're working for the mounties you need to be pretty careful. Don't know if you need to stop all together, but whatever....

    Hope you like the job!

Mounties? One of my friends just became a mountie, and when she got accepted, she totally deep-sixed most of her FB page save for a select few profile pics and we couldn't post on it for awhile. She was being totally paranoid and it's now back to normal.

You are too paranoid, especially since you passed the backgrounds.

Good luck with the job bro.
