As a person who watched UFC in the early days I don't really miss Goldie too much. He was only good for soundbites from being ignorant and Rogan correcting him.

I was sad that they let him go, because I don't like change in any form. But I watched Sylvia/Couture for the first time last night and was astounded at the inanities that came out of Goldberg's mouth. How can you work as a professional MMA commentator for that many years and still have no idea what you are watching?

It's odd because he's been a part of it forever but constantly would ask Rogan dumb questions to the point that Rogan would laugh then correct him.

I always was a Goldie fan but I've been watching a lot of older events recently and Goldie was terrible! So many comments that if you think about it are just stupid. I think we're better off with the commentators nowadays, we just didn't see it at the beginning
