So, this story came out yesterday on the news and it is really rather depressing.
A family of 4 were found dead inside their home, the two kids belonging to the family had sever autism accompanied with being deaf and dumb. I could only imagine how hard it would be to have to raise two intellectually challenged children, but to carry out something like this is rather unimaginable. The neighbours had nothing bad to say about the family and the parents specifically, they were loving and very caring to their kids. It just goes to really show that behind every facade is something else. It just proved to be too much and and both the parents cracked and didnt want to deal with their life anymore, as this would carry on until both parents eventually passed, they would for ever be taking care of their kids.
"Fernando Manrique, 44, his wife Maria Claudia Lutz, 43, and the couple’s two children Martin, 10, and Eliza, 11, were all found dead yesterday when police broke into their home at Davidson, on Sydney’s northern beaches.
Police are investigating whether the deaths are a murder-suicide, but say they are keeping an open mind as to how the family, along with their dog, died."
The bodies were discovered in separate parts of the home and it’s believed they didn’t show any signs of violence."

So the story is now that the parents had planned to kill themselves and their kids...
"Mr Manrique was spotted working on the roof of the house using power tools just days before the tragedy occurred. It is believed he was installing some sort of system to disperse the poison throughout the house.
Police have not yet found a note.
“There was a lot of pre-planning that went into this,’’ a police source said.
A neighbour said she watched Mr Manrique, 44, working on the house with power tools just two days before his death."

One of my sisters friends mother had a disabled brother, he was very slow, autistic and had a few other disabilities of that nature i cant remember what they were. He passed naturally at the end of last year at 60 years old and he lived every single one of those years with his parents. It is hard to fathom how parents could do this, but yet again I dont know what it would be like to raise disabled children.
