Thanx Guys.

Alright thanx, but that is this thumb thing for now,? do u think its supposed to help me with clinch work or somethin i think i might accidentally jam my thumb if i punch wrong,

i've only ever hear one person endorse the gel stuff.... everyone else agrees it's garbage.

avoid it.

Thanks Foz! I was just about to purchase a set in the next few days! Not no mo'!

I've never used an open thumb boxing glove. I am not sure what the pros/cons of one would be but I am sure you could find a fairtex pair of gloves with attached thumb for a comparable cost.

The open thumb is not a problem. It lets you clench your fist tighter. I love those Fairtex gloves...I use them more than my open thumb Cleto Reyes bag gloves.

aww thanx man i just wanted to know if they would effect my bag/pad work.

I ordered and tried those white fairtex bag gloves and wasn't crazy about them, so I sent them back. For the price I'd rather have a regular boxing style bag glove. Something about the size of the glove as well as the open thumb that bothered me. Its a very small glove, probably 6 ounces or so. Just an FYI.

if you want another bag glove similar to those fairtex ones try the grant campeon bag gloves from ringside. one of my training partners picked those up and loves them. he does maybe 6-8 rounds of bag work 3-4X a week and they've been holding up for about 5 months now

o thanx for the info i didnt know they were that light. i may jsut get into the grant.

Just so you know, the Grant Campeon line is fairly low Pakistan made quality and nothing like the Mexican made Grant products.

If you want to try out a open thumb style bag glove at a lower price, try Windy...they are only $29
