Question is about comfort and durability of these gloves. I read the other threads about these gloves and hear good things overall. A few posters said the ones with the finger straps broke, something I want to avoid. The closed palm version of the Sparring NHB is about 10 bucks more, not really an issue if the quality is better. I will use these primarily for light sparring, pad work and bag work. The reason I ask also is because I always wrap my hands and was wondering if either model is better or worse for this.

Thanks

i have yet to see a closed palm Fairtex NHB sparring glove.

link?

Is he maybe talking about the finger style? Some of the gloves have finger loops while others have actual fingers in them.

Sorry, they are MMA style with open fingers, but they have a enclosed full palm, and the other version has the strap style. Just want the ones that will work the best with some durability.

umm those are open palm. even says so right in the description. they are just like the ssf gloves, only more expensive.

the thumb loop looks kinda like it's covering the palm, but it goes on the outside of your thumb if that's what was confusing you.

Youre right, the other models have white straps and its obvious. Thats the problem living away from any stores with mma, you have to rely on internet pics. How are these gloves for all around traing, bag work, a little ground work ect, compared to the ultimate gloves with thumb, I guess the sparring version has more padding, but wouldnt be as good for man on man training. LIke i said above I have good heay bay gloves but want something for all round mma training.

Thanks for the help

I have the ssf clones of the fairtex gloves and I like them a lot. I can actually sink chokes and grapple pretty well but I'm not afraid to punch my sparring partners either. I've never used them for bag work, but I suppose they would do alright at that too.

i have these gloves and they are great. stand-up, grappling, gNp, bagwork, etc.

if you want any pics, PM me.

Which do you have? The sparring version or Ultimate version?
