Don't mean to get too dramatic here but these Fairtex KPLC5 pads are ridiculous. Worth every penny. I've been looking for a solid pair of pads since I have been training at the parc (Gym was closed) for the past few months and some brands kept surfacing. Fairtex being one of them.

These pads are made with what they call "Syntek" Leather. It's not your "real" leather but its solid and not as noisy as the leather pads which is good if you want to get some training done in the garage etc... The material is comfortable for the holder and the kicker but has good resistance at the same time. These are lighter then there predecessor (KPLC2) so the holder can transition easily from hand combos to kicks/knees. They also have a pad on the inside for extra support for the wrists which is needed for 200+lbs guys. I have been using them every day for the past month and they look exactly the same as when they came out of the box despite the fact we have been kicking with shoes on (I know, what a sin).

If I have to find something negative about these pads its that fairtex logo on the inside, felt scratchy and irritated after a few hours. I had the wifey take it out. Took her 5 min to remove the stitching, the glue rubbed right off. Problem solved

After a lot of shopping around I ordered them from MuayThaiFactory, they shipped fast and had better pricing then Amazon.

These things are SEXY !

is it durable?
Yes they are - we've used them at my gym for almost a year and they still look brand new (but I'm sure it varies based on the level of abuse you give them) - but yes good quality
