Ok guys, so I'm confused which fairtex glove I want to buy as they are all good for different things which is the overall best Fairfax glove? Thanks. Sparring/mitt/heavy bag.

You should have 2 pairs,1 for sparring and another for bags/pad work.

If you're just a starting off just go with all leather BGV1. And listen to ToneC get one pair for pad/bag(generally 12oz-16oz) and one pair for sparring (16oz).
There are better gloves out there, but I don't have experience with any other gloves. But I read someone mentioning the tie up gloves are the better fairtex gloves.

You'll do well to have 2 pairs, cuts down on the wear and tear as well as the stench that can come from over use. As far as which gloves, the traditional 16 oz. boxing gloves are the way to go. (especially if you can only afford one pair at the moment.) They're on sale here, Check it out:

Also can someone please explain exactly what BGV1 gloves specialize in? If im correct most people use them for sparring?

I use them for bag and pad/mit work.

Just a good all around glove, lots of people spar with them at my gym. PRetty much good for all training.

My buddy has a pair totally for bag work. As ironwolf said, Good all around glove for whatever you decide to use them for.
