Fairfax Jiu Jitsu ?

Amazing academy with great people/instruction, spent two weeks there when they were offering the 2 weeks to visitors when Abmar was in town, awesome stuff.

Probably one of the very few academies who teach Capoeira. David Jacobs will be teaching in Europe in November so my guess is Abmar will handle the classes ( along with BB Mark Jones ) while he's gone .

Is Abmar Barbosa teaching there too?

That's awesome if so... A couple of guys in my academy are planning a long weekend BJJ road trip, hitting spots on the East Coast.

I'd love to stop here.

yes he is on the Fairfax Jiu Jitsu staff now .

Fairfax would be a great place to stop at

Thanks for the kind words everyone. And big thanks to Manny from jiujitsusweep.com for the article and soon to be released interview.

This is a great school.

Dave Jacobs is also probably the toughest commuter on the Orange Line.

:icon_lol: lol @ being the toughest guy on the orange line. That's like being the tallest guy in a tribe of pygmies... (Present company excluded, of course.)

I have seen Mr Jacobs at a tournament. He is one scary/tough looking dude. It's really great to hear is a cool guy. He is a BEAST on the mat!

Fairfax is an absolutely awesome school. I was down there around February when the Abmar open house when I was in town in Febuary, great great training definitely going back whenever I can. Dave is a terrific school owner, teacher, and pretty good at Jiu Jitsu to say the least Lol. Ousssssss!
