Nate is 155er and is top 5 in that division, and only lost to Bendo, and RDA. Both ex Champs.
Nate beat the chops out of the ever popular Cerrone.

Nate is also a brave fighter to test waters with 170 lbers and got his ass handed by Rory mac.
No one remembers this because UFC hype machine wasn't blowing it up like a superbowl AD.

Conor will comeback as he is LEGIT talented, and this will make him train differently.

His nuthuggers can maybe admit that he was barely tested at 145 where he is HUGE - when a No Camp 155er, got the better of him.

Respect to Conor for his balls to fight RDA and even contemplating Lawler.
But this is a measuring stick that Conor will never forget.

DIAZ bros finally get some recognition.

Nate is 6'0 and had a 2 inch reach advantage. It's not much of a difference and is certainly no more than he had been benefiting from at 145 over others.

He lost because he believed his own hype.

At any rate though, yeah, Nate is a part of the real top-p4p club. All those guys between 155 and 170 who are truly elite at all phases of MMA. Cerrone, Henderson, Pettis, RDA, Condit, now Alvarez... the list goes on. Conner isn't as good as they are, and he can't be a top fighter in that division.

180 minimum, wtf you talking about. Nate walks around at ~170 just like conor for this fight. He looked the exact same on fight night as he did at weigh ins, and the same he looked at 155 except with some fat on his belly rofl.
