This comment struck me as odd. In my mind, this is just a thinly veiled steroid accusation. I honestly had never even considered it a possibility with Cruz.

Faber also threw TJ under the bus saying he looked pre-pubescent, asking if USADA had banned puberty.

Do you think Faber is just blowing smoke or did he really mean what he was saying? I didn't notice any significant change in Cruz's physique or performance, but to be fair, it had been a long time since we saw him in a 25 minute fight, and if anyone follows Dom's career closely, it's Faber.

Their whole back & forth was goofy. Dominic has been injured for the last 4 years, of course he's not going to be in the best shape. It's whatever... they will fight soon. Dom will outpoint Faber to another decision.

both dom and faber lost that. lame bickering. not entertaining.

Faber insinuated his division, just like every other division, would look way different after usada. I was wondering if he was hinting tj was juicing at the time because he was talking about how tj cant control his temper and beats the shit out of teammates if they land one good shot (he's talking about roid rage maybe?). This pretty much confirms to me that faber, one of tj's closest training partners, is accusing him of peds.

He did show up skinnier with way less bacne to the Cruz fight, but I am going to assume he wanted more cardio and bought a new loufa until he fails a test. His own former teammate that recruited him out of college making these bold accusations/insinuations is pretty damning evidence though, just not enough to know for sure.

Faber's just creating that hype.

Do you think that's actually a good way, though? Steroid accusations just seem bitter and actually kind of turn me off to a fighter, and I've been a huge Faber fan since I can remember.

Ped accusations are thrown around pretty flippantly nowadays. You have to take most things fighters say with a pinch of salt.

Bingo. Faber is the guy you'd expect to know every little detail about both Cruz and TJ seeing as one is a long time friend, practically son or little brother kind of friend, and Cruz is his arch enemy. Diaz accusing Conor is just stupid banter, but this held weight to me.

it wasn't thinly veiled; it was a clear accusation of peds. but faber has done this before with all the "lie detector test" business

Very true. Only reason I found this more interesting is because of Faber's relationship with TJ. He'd probably know what was going on.

Faber is slowly turning in to the man he loves the most

...Conor McGregor.

Faber's trash talk is horrible.
He's a good guy pretending to be a bad boy.

This is especially true of Brazilians, everything they say contains large amounts of salt.

Faber should just keep it real. He shouldnt even wear a suit. Be yourself faber! even dana wears stupid tshirts to these things. You can too!

Faber didn't exactly look the greatest against Saenz himself..

I'm not a fan of PED accusations. Wish Faber would've focused more on Cruz not finishing fights, or the fact that Uriah won their first fight.

But hey, trash talk ain't for everybody. For what it's worth, I think Cruz handled it well.

Those were great lines. I love Faber & his approach to life.

Never been a fan of Faber but what he is doing is creating hype...he knows he is at the end of his career and has taken a page from Conor's book....guess his advice during tuf sat well.

But he is doing what he needs to, to get interest and a big payday.

Faber's point was not that it was amazing or completely unexpected that he wasn't in the best of shape due to the circumstances, just that it was a fact. Dom is fragile as fuck and that's not likely to change where as Faber is not and despite being older is probably able to get into better shape.

That's not a smart thing to say considering TJ trained with Faber for years.

Urijah should be lucky Dom didn't bring up his last fight, Cruz beat the champ and Faber barely got by an unranked opponent.
