Just watched on DVR. That may have been the most quiet crowd Ive ever heard....

The pace of and excitement of the fight reminded me of Mayweather vs Pac...

I quite enjoyed it, if anything it's Faber's fault if you found it boring he offered almost zero offense.

EDIT: I'm biased.

Hehe. Maybe it was tense silent?

Big difference between bored silent (boo in the US), "My hometown guy is getting destroyed silent and just intense fight silent.

Wasn't there so i have no idea

The crowd definitely had energy in it as they were loud as hell for Munoz...

Bad style match-up for Faber... and Edgar was more than happy to just point fight and make no effort to finish.

Says everything you need to know about the fight when less than 24 hours later there's barely a thread about it on the main page of the forum.

Go watch Ebersole/Head and then tell me Edgar/Faber was a boring fight. I'll wait.

I do suffer from insomnia, I feel asleep during the Nover v Nam fight.
I didn't think the fight was boring, rather enjoyed it; however, I was frustrated with Faber. He doesn't know how to adjust when he doesn't have a distinct speed/quickness advantage. He feints a lot and throws little and it doesn't help that his main strategy is to leap in with a punch. It was like Faber expected Edgar to stand still and let Faber hit him with a leaping hook or overhand right.

I feel asleep during it, but in all fairness I barely slept the night before. The fight went as expected so it was hard to get into the fight. Didn't really care who won to be honest. I do like Urijah's style better though.

I did fall asleep 3 times during the main event
I had to keep rewinding it

You know I was worried about admitting to this. Yeah, even though the fight was on a great time here for me in Ireland, I didn't find it all that enthralling. I didn't think it was outright boring but I felt that quite quickly we knew which was the fight was going.

I saw someone else commenting mention May v Pac and that's a good point. This fight should have happened years ago for it to have been more entertaining.

Not like this is a surprise, but I did fall asleep too.

1- Very late by the time I saw it. (missed the early AM showing, it was on around midnight and I have two young kids)

2- Last fight on the card

3- No "Holy shit he is gonna get ktfo" moments. (as I WOULD HAVE BET MUCH MONEY ON)

I was tired well before the main event, was dozing off during the co main (Mousasi even said we wasn't trying to take any risks in the in cage interview because he didn't want to get KOed)

then the Faber/FE fight comes on and I remember seeing the first minute or two unfold exactly like I expected, lots of feints and footwork, nothing really landing, Frankie holding a SLIGHT edge all around,

then it was like I blinked my eye and it was the third round, so figuring I hadn't missed much (as neither guy had a SCRATCH on BRUISE) I was like, oh I'll just catch the championship rounds, those will tell the tale anyway (and I can go back and rematch on DVR if needed)

then I blink my eye and it is some infomercial for some fucking magical car cleaning product..... rrrrrgh

Guess how shocked I was to find out Frankie won by UD?

wait for it

not very shocked. Not very shocked at all.

Hey you could have watched that one exciting boxing fight Manny VS Floyd:icon_chee

It was not THAT bad. Not the greatest Ive ever seen but come on,it wasnt horrible

Go watch Ebersole/Head and then tell me Edgar/Faber was a boring fight. I'll wait.

That fight was more frustrating than anything(as an Ebersole fan). The relentless TD spam when it obviously wasn't going to work...
