at 175.

While Brimage vs. Doane (who I've never seen in my life) is on the main card.

I guess it's so that FS1 will have a main event but still. Seriously?

Would've put Uriah Hall in the main event of the prelims and Faber on the main card.

You said it.

watch out TS, if you don't follow every minute of MMA and every MMA website you will get flamed by the "ive watched ufc since ufc 1" posters.

It actually makes a lot of sense.

If you're not going to have Faber in your PPV main event because he's not in a title fight right now, then you might as well have him as the last fight leading into the PPV where there will be the maximum number of eyes on the fight (because it's free TV) and also put people in the buying mood for some last minute PPV purchases.

That was my first thought. It is a great business move, from a promotional standpoint.
You let casual fans watch one of the most skilled, exciting fighters in the UFC put on a great fight and it creates excitement for more action...more PPV buys.
It was not being disrespectful to Faber or a slight in any way. If anything, it is praising Faber for always putting up high intensity fights.

Who cares. The line between main card and prelims continues to be blurred as the years go by.

Brimage had just fought the GOAT. That guarantees him the main card spot.
