Fab trolled Cain so badly before the fight. He called him a fake Mexican, said hes more Mexican than Cain, mocked his Spanish, said he was overestimating his cardio for altitude and that his wrestling wouldnt mean shit against his BJJ, was making troll faces everywhere they had media obligations, was saying he was the real champ and Cain had the fake belt after he beat Hunt, was saying hed retire after he beat Cain and that if he beat Cain for a UFC title it still wouldnt mean more than beating Fedor. Also he shit on AKA as a whole especially Luke and their coach forgot his name. Then he proceeded to beat the living shit out of Cain, hurt him and dropped him multiple times, savaged him in the clinch which was supposed to be Cains wheelhouse, made Cains terrible boxing/kickboxing technique look what it was at range, outgrappled him and obviously choked him in front of his own ppl who seemed to connect more with Fabricio than their Mexican

Conor completely got into Aldos head. Everyone knows how the buildup went and we saw Aldo lunge into a hook with 0 setup in a way he just never does. He fought emotional and got KOd in record fashion for a championship fight. Since that fight hes spewed nothing but nonsense and delusion regarding him and Conor.

So which was the biggest destruction?

the thing about the aldo fight is, he never really even got to fight. we all know hes way better than that. i am more impressed with fab wearing down, and then tapping out cain.

I think Conor/Aldo was bigger because Aldo's been in a lot more wars than Cain. So letting someone get under his skin like that was unreal.

Maldonado is fighting fedor in june.....

Its Werdum who is fighting cain....

I'd say Conor/Aldo but I can see how you'd argue either way.

Fab/Cain isn't as bad to me, because Cain had lost before, and had a really long lay off with the injury and everyone knew he probably wasn't 100%.

Aldo on the other hand, looked good at the weigh in, and got completely shattered, and was obviously mentally broken from the experience

I can't believe how Fabricio dominated Cain so badly. I vote for him.

Aldo had to endure a year of shit talk and got starched in 10 seconds. Way worse.

Why is he way better than that? That's a combo he has thrown quite frequently. Just never faced anyone with the timing and power to counter it.

He completely battered Cain and beat him everywhere

Um... Cain won the 1st round against Werdum.

Aldo was starched and out cold in 13 seconds.

Not sure if serious.

Aldo hadn't lost in a decade and was the #1 P4P fighter in the world at the time.

Then comes this loud-mouthed Irish idiot talking all this shit to one of the greatest WEC/UFC fighters ever. Nearly all were convinced Conor would get wrecked and the disrespect had Aldo positively simmering before the match.

Thirteen seconds later it was over.

Cain got outstruck from range, the clinch and outgrappled. He also got dropped more than once IIRC and just overall took a hellacious beating before getting finished by the superior fighter. As a Cain fan im thankful the rematch didnt happen. Fab would have prolly knocked him out the 2nd time

Nearly all were convinced Conor would get wrecked? Om wot? Conor was the favorite..........

Cain also knocked Werdum down and in the strikes landed, the differential wasn't huge. Cain gassed out badly and Werdum took over. Let's not forget that Cain rocked Werdum with a head kick in the 3rd. Aldo lost in the 2nd exhange of the fight. It's not compa

There was hardly any prefight destruction with Werdum and Cain. They got on well on TUF. He made 1 comment about the Mexican thing and then he said he was misquoted and not how he meant it. Conor vs Aldo of course was totally different and lots of heat.

Conor KO'd Aldo in 13 seconds. It wasn't like he dominated or beat him up or anything. He simply connected on a solid shot and it's very rare to see a KO that quick.

Cain got tooled in every area by Werdum. I've seen the Cain and Jose fans hop off the bandwagon, but there are a lot more Cain fans that have gone into hiding.
