I just don;t see how a millionaire (I've been told) would show up to be embarrassed in his first fight. I mean there is just too much attention/at stake for him to lose his first outing. Could train like a motherfucker and not sign a fight till I was ready. Perhaps I'm assuming too much but I think CM Punk wins by not wanting his world crash around him in a fire of very public humiliation.

Also why did they give him a legit guy for his first pro fight. They should have gave him a shitty amateur, that would be more fair to a 0-0 fighter.

That's exactly what Mickey Gall is
His first fight was against a nobody who was 0-1 at the time
His 2nd fight was against a photographer who works for Legacy FC

Punk and Gall are both shitty amateurs, one's just more shittier

Like Ariel said on his show, the UFC didn't want to pick someone who had no talent to face him because then CM could either win then likely not take another fight or at least not many or lose and it would be that much worse. They matched him up Gall because he's young and talented. If he was to win he can be popular off that or if CM wins his steaks go sky high because he's legit. With this scenario it's a win win for the UFC. Gall has been training Karate and BJJ since he was young I doubt Punk has enough time to catch up.

hes fighting someone over 10 years younger, faster, probably stronger and with more combat experience than him, and the man who bested Michael Jackson in single combat, hes probably going to get destroyed

    I just got a feeling.

I'm neutral on both guys. But I think it would be a cool story if he won.

Not to mention the shit storm it would cause in this place.

    I'm in.

I know logically it makes no sense, I just think the x-factor is the pressure CM is probably facing all around him.

This is true but also proof that Mickey has the will to fight and is in fact a fighter. I doubt this pro wrestler will shit himself but we don't know if he will scrap. Win or lose all that matters to me is that he comes to fight.

I def agree with this. If he shows up and goes balls to the wall and gets KTFO i'll respect him for doing it. If he eeks out a win at distance and looks timid I'm not sure. Either way I respect a guy who shows up to the cage.

Welcome to the Chick Magnet Squad bro!

    Welcome.jpg
No doubt they could've given him a can to crush... but Gall is no joke & one hell of a test for someone right out of the gate.

He is in the capable handz of RufusSport... & Duke haz been his personal sparring partner... so yes, he will be prepared. Punk said he wasn't going to sign on to fight until Duke thought he waz ready... so if Duke thinks he's ready... I believe him.

He'z been doing JJ since he waz in high school... & started training with Rener Gracie in 2012.
