im looking for some help on different types of exercises to work on getting abs. after doing only sit ups for a long time im looking for other ways.Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks

I prefer search functions. One day I'd like to work my way up to thread lockings.

im too lazy to find and link the study, but the bicycle was found to be perhaps the most effective for targeting all ab areas in one excercise (other excercises are better for targeting specifc areas, such as leg lifts for lower abs)

eating green salads.

overhead squats

Abs are made in the kitchen.

You want core exercises such as dead lifts.

+1 on overhead squats
hanging leg raises feet to face.

and yes you wont see abs til there is less fat.

abs are 90% diet.

When I do work abs, I like to preform bycicles or flutter kicks very very slow.

every1 has abs. but alot of people have fat over them. get that diet clean.

o and turkish get ups are and windmills.

Dragon Flags FTW! and v-situps.

you are a idiot

They mean if you want abs to show through, you need to cut down on the fat which is from the things you eat. Exercise is of less importance then food when lower bf, especially around the waist.

I love dragon flags

^^Do those things hurt your back? they look like they might.

I find ab roll outs hurt my back more
The thing that is a pain in the arse with dragon flags is trying to anchor your upper body. I usually have to have something above me to push against

I tried them this morning and loved them. You get a good burn that lacks in some other core exercises. At first, my sternum area felt really tight. But you're right, you really have to make sure you have a good grip going.

Otherwise, great exercise, thanks for the advice.
