I couldn't believe how bad it actually was. There was something very tragic about the lies he told, like he's revising his own history. It's surprising that someone like Joey didn't tell him he's nowhere near ready.

Joey Coco Diaz has said before that Brendan would never be allowed on stage at the comedy store or laugh factory back in the 90s lol

Wow listen to all you fucking clowns.

Half of you probably drive a forklift at Home Depot and suck at life.

People just love to hate on success....I'm happy for the guy. Glad to see someone post fight career doing better than the peanuts the UFC was (is?) paying these guys to get their faces caved in.

I think its awesome that Schaub made it out of MMA and into a successful career. As a fan of the sport I ultimately want all of these guys to figure out how to leverage their time in the UFC into a better life. They are generally getting paid peanuts in exchange for brain damage and have no advocacy.

Schaub hacked the system and used what was available to him to make a better life. Couldn't be more supportive of that.

This was a terrible, terrible comedy special. Truly inexplicable how nobody stopped it from happening.

Schaubs audience is the 25-35 year old dude bros that grew up with mortal kombat, sega and the simpsons.

I stopped watching it about 20 minutes into it as I felt embarrassed for him.

Then I saw a clip yesterday of him doing a bit about a UFC Asian trainer that was so hacky it made me uncomfortable. And come to find out the Asian trainer talks with a perfectly normal American accent. The only issue I have with Schaub is his friends openly lie to him about his talent. Not a real friend.

Lol, fair enough man, thanks for the reply.

TBH, I haven’t even seen it yet, but listen to the podcast regularly and have seen clips so I have an idea of his type of comedy.

I just get annoyed reading the whole first page of comments and it’s all negative

We can all agree its a very successful podcaster and clearly talented at it. Even if its not your personal taste, his success and rankings speak for themselves, the guy has a big audience.

His comedic act was atrocious. I couldn't make it through and I'm a perfect market for it as an MMA fan familiar with him. It was unwatchable and thats why its gotten bad reviews across the board.

I don't understand why he didn't wait another year to get it squared away first, kind of a head scratcher, but he'll live and learn I'm sure.
