Definitely. Back in the day, all you ever saw was guys trying to get on top and drag the guy towards the cage before beginning GNP. I think largely that Chuck Liddell was one of the key guys to watch when it came to using the fence to stand up.
 
Fedor's striking in his last fight against Rizzo was extremely quick, not often used, the way he does it; His superman hook that ended the fight was scary quick, accurate and beautiful!! He took out yet another at his own game. Pedro Rizzo has knocked out some of the UFC's current top ten.
 
Except for the front kick, I would say most of them have been around a while.

It was around since... Pat Smith?... floored a hapless opponent with a running front kick at the opening bell at the one of first UFCs.

This is not a thread that should be started by anyone who is using recent UFC gifs to trace the evolution of MMA.
