Evidence GSP will fight the winner of Diaz vs Mgregor

Let's look at the evidence.

1. In the years GSP has been absent from MMA he has attended one event. UFC 196 on March 5th.





2. GSP announced his intentions to return to MMA if his management could score a mega deal on June 25th. But he does not attend any other events to hype potential matchups...

3. We discover GSP was interviewed while watching Conor vs Nate 1. This interview is released August 9th on the UFC channel.





4. The next day, August 10th GSP announces he has entered the testing pool. He plans to be tested for four months prior to fighting. Given Nate and Conor are fighting August 20th...that means GSP will be eligible to fight mid-December...just in time for a big NYE card. A NYE card would be the perfect shelf time for Diaz or Mcgregor.

And to think the UFC actually thought they could keep this a secret...

GSP against Conor would be a joke

 

The UFC tells a lot of worse jokes...Lesnar returning roided to the tits, Royce Gracie returning to fight Matt Hughes...

It's very plausible and wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

 

There was quite a bit of speculation that they would announce GSP vs Conor after the diaz fight.

Nate shut that down though

GSP's gameplan will be identical in either fight. See GSP vs. Nick Diaz.

I wonder which opponent GSP would stand with more before going for the takedown. He'd probably trade with Nate longer than he would with Conor.

 

Number 1 may not be entirely true i believe he was in the corner for Francis Carmont after he retired.

 

And oh what a gloriously funny one it would be.

Why doesn't everyone in the UFC form two lines, one to fight Conor at their own weight class, and another to fight GSP if he returns.

 

There are three things I have truly believed in: 1) Science 2) the marriage of Nick Lackey and Jessica Simpson 3) this. Two outta three ain't bad.

 

I thought everyone already knew GSP was going to fight Conor had he beaten Nate.
