Everybody call it now - who would/will win between JBJ & DC, and how?

He went for 1 kimura and 1 RNC (which ended the fight), I think you might be trolling, or just plain retarded. :icon_surp

I remember him going for a kimura in two separate rounds, and failing.

Pretty sure there were other weird submission attempts, but I'd have to rewatch the fight sober to comment on that.

Did you watch the fight? Because even Dana was joking about his lack of submission game at the post-fight presser.

Watch from the 7:25 mark.

Joking about it with Cain BEFORE THE SUBMISSION. You don't comprehend things very well. HE WON THE FIGHT WITH A SUBMISSION. Can you understand that?

How many fighters have to train to pull off a rear-naked choke?

Are you really that dense?

A fighter with zero BJJ can do an RNC.

He won't be pulling no RNC on Jones rofl

No wonder you're on dubs. You're like communicating with a brick. It's like you think everyone submits Hendo. And it would be even easier to submit Jones, fucking dude almost got submitted by VITOR. Get fucking real you daft child.

Either guy has a good chance. They are both great fighters. I think Cormier's wrestling would give him the edge against Jones though

Vitor is a black belt in BJJ... you clearly do not know what you are talking about and do not understand what you are watching.

Anyone can do a rear-naked choke. Anyone. Now a kimura, heel hook, anything more advanced takes practice and technique.

There's a reason when they talk about someone being a submission specialist, they never talk about their rear-naked choke.

LOL

Funny, I could do a kimura the first day of rolling. BEFORE I EVER EVEN GOT A FUCKING STRIPE. Triangles are extremely easy to learn as well, especially for a wrestler. You're really dense.:(

To quote DC, "If I want to take Jon Jones down a 100 times, I'll take him down a 100 times."

After watching poor MW built hendo get tossed about like a rag doll by a very powerful HW it become clear to me DC is far too strong for anybody to defend the TD against. This guy has the same strength as lesnar, carwin and overeem, but he has has something all of them guys doesn't have, and that's the belief and positivity of a champion.

Expect JJ to get tossed around.

Jeez, with kimuras being so easy to learn (and apparently easy to apply) I wonder why they're so underrepresented in the UFC.

Done talking to you, child. You are a mental midget.

This has NOTHING to do with how difficult the submission is, it shows what submissions are MORE COMMON. Doesn't mean that the kimura is hard to perform.

I wonder why you're about to get banned? It could be because of your lack of comprehension, or just the fact that you are a complete waste of time and redundant pile of protoplasm.

I would love to see DC drop Jones on his head. Not to kill him or anything, just knock him out.

DC stands with him until he notices Jones is getting ahead on the scorecards. If that happens, he'll go to his usual single leg, picks him up and takes him down.

Jones is hard to keep down, and Nelson was able to get up once DC took him down, so it'll probably be hard to keep Jones on the mat, also because Cormier does still make a lot of mistakes on the ground.

JJ probably won't get a takedown, he'll have to outpoint him on the feet to take this.

Early on, DC gets takedowns easier and will be harder to shrug off once on top. Since I think they'll stand in the 1st round, that could go either way, but rounds 2 and 3 should be Cormier's.

Jones has great cardio and gets stronger as the fight goes on, while DC faded more against Barnett in the later rounds. Those would be Jones' rounds to take, the best chance I give him to win this.

Jones is not gonna outwrestle him, sub him from his back nor will he KO him, he doesn't have the power and DC's too strong on top, while Cormier can knock him out and can outwrestle him to a decision win.

DC by decision is the most likely outcome.

Jones by decision.

DC can't take him down and hold him there. Jones will strike at range

DC will lose every second of the fight that he isn't maintaining top control, All he will be capable of doing on the ground is holding Jones down without striking.

Jones by decision.
