Interesting... Mcgregor - Khabib no doubt deserve it, selling the highest UFC PPV ever... But the 187 listed are well above the middle class standard. Nice to see most getting paid but still think $12/12 or whatever is terrible for a guy training and working fulltime.

Sam Alvey made almost $300k (granted before expenses)! That is more than most lawyers (I am working on it). Enough complaining about fighter pay.

Just guesswork, correct for some, close for others, way off for the rest.

They just look at the handful of commissions that publish purses then make a guess as to what a fighter might have earned in non-reporting states. Sometimes their guess is based on way out of date information though, a fight in Vegas years ago for example.

Why are there so many amateur level women making just shy of 6 figures. You limp wrist fools are to blame for ruining our entertainment and price increase.

I'm not sure you understand how a free market or market driven economy is supposed to work but ok. Great lawyers are compensated very well, they are worth it and the market agrees. Most of the good UFC fighters make a lot more for the company than what they are actually given for pay, that's the problem. And fighter's careers are very short and clearly brutal on the body. A lawyer who only defends DWI's and misdemeanor pot cases is probably worth no more than 50k and if they make 6 figures they are wildly overcompensated IMO. And they don't have to spend half their pay on gyms/training, agents, nutrition etc.

If you don't have a basic understanding of capitalism then I sure as fuck wouldn't want you representing me or my company. That might sound rude but I honestly mean no real offense by it, hopefully if you are still going to law school you are just young-ish and that will come in time.

Lawyers dont have an average career span of like 15 years and run the risk of brain damage and permanent injury at work.
