It really shows how close it was. He goes through every strike. You could debate with him on how effective certain strikes were, but either way it shows how close that round was.

Needs to play the strikes not just show still images to truly judge. Also what do you have to do to get a 10-8 round in mma? Max was controlling both rds 1 and 2 and then dropped Volkanovski but still only got 10-9. In boxing and kickboxing, you can be losing a round on points but once you drop the other guy it's automatically 10-8 in your favor

He didn't post just images...the majority of the video is video footage, but in very slow motion—he shows the follow through of the strikes. Flash knockdowns don't give 10-8's in mma.

I thought it was a close round, yeah, but I did edge it to volk because his jabs and left hooks seemed to be the most consistently effective strikes.

But it should be worth more than a razor close round where no significant damage was done by either. You want to give 10-9 to Max for the first two rounds, fine, but then some of those other rounds that went in Volk's favor should have just been 10-10

This. The same people saying Volks takedowns shouldn't count because Max got right back up are saying Max's knockdowns should've been 10-8 rounds even though Volk barely dropped and got right back up. Makes no sense.

You think rounds 1 and 2 were 10-8 rounds for Max? They were pretty much 60-40 type rounds for Max until the the knockdowns. Not enough for 10-8s
