what are your most exciting mma moments?

it can be literally anything this is a wide reaching thread haha

il start, i remember being crazy excited when the strikeforce heavyweight grand prix was announced, theres a pic with all the heavies when it was announced that is so cool

another one is the rory-robbie staredown at the end of round 3 or 4 in their second fight, the epicness of that cant be described in mere mortal language

what you got sherbros?

Randy beating Timmy for the hw strap. I didn't give him a shot coming off his loss to Chuck. Its the only time I counted down the seconds of round five.

I think when Conor KO'd Aldo I went a bit overboard with the celebrating, I was invested too hard due to the banter on here with the Aldo fans lol

yeah when he dropped Tim was insane, I almost jumped out of my seat watching it at home

Anderson pulling off that round 5 triangle against Chael. I despised Sonnen at the time and was scared out of my mind he was actually going to pull it off. I remember seeing the positioning of Chael's head and arm on Anderson's chest and screaming, "JUST THROW UP A TRI-" and he did it before I could finish the sentence. I was watching it with a few friends and we all went nuts.

I felt the same way when Big Nog sub'd Tim.

Watching Crocop tap that Barry kid.

I was in a bar with a shit load of drunk people. I started yelling "Punch him in the dick!" Just to be a dick, ya know? And other people followed suit.

So it was pretty cool. Plus, I was rooting for Crocop.

I remember that fight so very clearly because I wanted "David" to beat "Goliath" so badly. Stoked when he did.

Randy beating Timmy and the lead up to Shogun vs. Machida I thru Shogun vs. Machida II were.
I didn't really know the players or drama during Shogun's GP run, but it watching some of those fights that made me a Shogun fan.

Jon Jones going on a tear in the LHW division was orgasmic-

Machida Era was something to always remember-

GSP WW run was historic-

The last emperor's rise can't be described with words-

The Goddess of High School Wrestling finally shedding the label of 'Overrated Gatekeeper Tate' last month. It was a long time coming.

Fedor whooping Big Timmy's ass in less than a minute

That first punch Randy landed on Big Timmy dropping him

Don Frye going rock em sock em with Takayama

Lil Diaz whooping the shit out of Mcgregor in the last minute of the fight

Nick Diaz gogoplata on Takanori Gomi

and a lot lot more

Weidman dropping Silva when he was clowning. Conor rolling over when Diaz took full mount. You knew the tap was coming really quickly.

Everytime I heard "and still" after a GSP fight and everytime I saw Frank Mir getting that win.

I was there and it was one of the greatest moments of my life. It's the only UFC I've been able to attend but man, it was a SATISFYING event!

That was a big moment for me.

After all the hype, the world promo tour, the injury to Aldo, the short notice Mendes fight with its 'Conor could lose and be derailed, what if Conor/Aldo never happens...' tension, the second fight being booked, Aldo looking like he was ready to kill Conor and saying some stuff with bad intentions, the weigh-in with Conor looking like a cancer patient and Aldo looking super confident, the walk outs.....

A 13 second decapitation of one of the greatest fighters of the last 20 years.

All I could do was laugh. It was amazing. Not my biggest, but I can get onboard with you about it, that's for sure.

I hear ya man. He was getting beat, but nog just took it and when he got his opportunity, boom it was over. That was a good card. Watched that at a hooters. It was packed because there were some big names on that card. It was the debut of some Brock guy. Those were the days.
