Stipe's first warpath is somewhat underrated on sherdog.
Hunt, Arlovski, Werdum, Reem, JDS, Francis.
    4 first round KO's in a row.
    Overall 6-1 in championship fights.
    With 4 KO's.

Before all the Struve gifs,I' ll protect myself with some sherdog juju.
    "FEDOR IS THE GOAT".

Cmtr 1: “Ruten is using the elbow on the back of the head of Kevin Randleman”

Cmtr 2: “The side of the head. He’s coming in from the side”

Cmtr 1: “Oh uh...which is legal”

Huge bloody cut in the exact center of the back of Kevin’s head. Cameras switch to side view...

A warpath that includes 10 year past their primes Hunt and AA, as well as washed up JDS isn't that great man.

They were the top guys at the time.

He arguably beat JDS back when he was a beast.

Also 40+ year old Hunt was a fucking beast, so.......

    Facts hurt.

In no universe were those guys even close to their top form when Stipe 'the graverobber" beat them.

Is Stipe one of the he more vincible champs? He seems to find a way to win but there's almost never a fight where he looks like a killer.

Stipe is underrated, and it's not his fault that he fights in the HW division, where historically the dudes at the top are older.

It’s a solid streak but not necessarily GOAT status. And of course it’s sandwiched between losses to Struve/JDS and Cormier.

JDS started off his UFC career 9-0 with 7 KO’s, winning and defending the belt:

Werdum, Struve, Cro Cop, Yvel, Gonzaga, Nelson, Carwin, Cain, Mir

Stipe lost a close decision the first fight.....many had him winning.

That's not even comparable to Holloway-Kattar at all dude.......
