Which is pretty much all of them. Nate is right: they all on steroids. When Jones made this comment during the 200 media ramp up about training 3x a day it was a clear red flag to me that he was on something. 2x a day of hard training should wear you out in a week and give you negative returns by the next.

Its almost like they are using something that is lowering recovery time... what could it be????

well then what about Nate and NIck? they train all fucking day long, like to do triathlons for fun and are in shape 24/7 all year long

the biggest red flag was that Jones went from deadlifting 275 to 600 in 7 months.

Anyone who has even lifted for a short amount of time knows that kind of increase is basically impossible natty given the time frame. Even if you factor in Jones' superior genetics, you have to account for what you did-- the fact that he also has to train MMA.

275, which probably wasnt his max to begin with-- lets say for arguments sake it was 350, to 600 inside of 7 months is just unfathomably suspicious its almost not even funny.

"train by day, joe rogan podcast by night"

I didn't know listening to joe rogan's podcast was a workout?

Though i agree with all the hate Jones gets, i wouldn't go so far to believe every single thing any fighter/fight promoter says.

They promote the fight, and if saying on twitter/whatever they train 3x a day will get the PPVs, they will say it. Especially that character.

Didn't it also come out that Jones used to skip training so he could go out partying? Which directly contradicts training 3x per day

You've had fighters like Dennis Hallman and Nate saying it for years--everyone is using. I'm not the least bit surprised when I hear someone get caught. I actually find it funny when I see a fan say they always believed a certain fighter was always "clean". Specially when it's one of the fighters that was recently caught, i.e. Machida, Anderson, etc. If those fighters are willing to use something now, when the chances of getting caught are higher, they were probably using back when testing was a joke.

He probably didn't lift before. Huge gains no question, but have you seen the size of his two brothers? It's certainly within the realm of possibility - that is one athletically gifted family.

Agreed. I fought professional Muay Thai as a clean athlete for 7 years and could not see how people can physically train for another 2-4 hours a day than what I did/ saw others do.

Even the high level gyms in Thailand are juicing now.

It's physically impossible for 9/10 people to do what they do everyday.

All the big names at 200 looked like watered down versions of their old self, besides Brock shredded 280lbs at 38 uears old, hallelujah.

Training for triathalons is different. Take boxing for instance, you can do basic conditioning for hours. The reason is you're not going 100% and the only resistance is yourself. So you can casually train for long periods of time without overexerting yourself. When I was boxing it wasn't uncommon for my first workout of the day to be 4 hours long.

when nate says everybody is on steroids he might just be confessing that he himself is on steroids

Really it's true. If you're actually training 3x a day it's going to result in a net negative by rhe second week that's true. I don't believe what everyone saus though... I believe a lot of guys stretch the truth when they say they train 3x a week.

Nate and Nick have both versed guys who have been much more skilled than themselves. Further, some of these [All?[ people, they say are on steroids… Now this is my takeaway:

Despite facing certain fighters who are not only more skilled, Nick and Nate also claim they are on steroids. Here's the catch though: The fights are still close. Nick and Nate are still very very competitive. In fact they even win from time to time against these guys SO….

If these guys are doping, if some of these guys even have better SKILLSETS… How the fuck do Nate and Nick compete with them? LOL… You do the math.

The power of weed

Take the Anderson fight. Anderson Silva is a BJJ blackbelt. A TKD black belt. An elite Muay Thai fighter. Has elite boxing. Has a black belt in Judo… He was also doping.

Nick Diaz has elite boxing, and a BJJ black belt.

Despite this however, and despite being the smaller fighter, Nick was still very very competitive. So how does that make sense? Anderson has a far superior skill set. He has a size advantage, AND he is on PED's… Yet the fight is close. Something stinks...
