Ever have a woman befriend your mother to get to you?

I have a woman in my life who has been befriending my mother in order to get to me.

We have a lot of chemistry together, fooled around a few times, and have great conversations, but I have noticed some red flags. Things like lying about small things, omitting important stuff, inconsistencies, wants to lock-in to a relationship.

I already told her that I am not interested in committing, but I can't help but sense that she is trying to win over my mother in order to get to me. They always run into each other, and my mother is constantly bringing her up. I am starting to notice something is up.

Anybody ever had to deal with something like this?

I got my mother a job at a bouquet wholesale company owned by the floral import company I worked for. I ended up living with the girl who was my mother's supervisor.

It was weird because they talked about me, and had far too many opportunities to do so.
