Even though he is at the end of his career, he's STILL on a 5 fight win streak.

That in itself is pretty amazing.

For all the GOATs that have had their downfalls, Fedor has done it relatively with grace. Lost 3 in a row, but look how many champions in the sport have done the same against similar competition even MORE so DURING their prime.

It's just crazy how his record still stands at 36-4, with the one loss BS so basically 36-3. Then you look at all the names the guy has fought. Hard not to consider him in the top 3 all time list even if you are a Jones, GSP, Aldo or Silva fan. Many consider him #1 of all time , and it's hard to even argue that.

Who other than the greatest of all time goes on a 5 fight win streak and then is said to be on the decline? crazy.

I think his winning streak just ended.

Arguably but still came out with the W, controversial as it is. But really it should have been a draw which wold mean he didn't lose recently. But Is ee what you're saying.

You can't determine a decline with a win/loss ratio.

Roy Jones has gone out with several dominating wins against club level fighters, but he is completely shot and you don't need a loss to see it.

I don't think the Maldonado fight should hurt his legacy that much, as long as he gets out now. He doesn't need to go out on his back to satisfy his critics. He's done enough for the sport.

and it's not the end yet, according to Fedor. Wants bigger fights now. crazy Russians!

Minakov looked like the Fedor we know and love.

Fedor looked old, i still think he probably deserved to win but he has clearly declined despite 5 straight wins.

But its the fact that guys like Fedor and Roy Jones CAN do that compared with everybody else that is amazing.

And honestly, I think Anderson Silva has even been out of his prime since Forrest Griffin era, he changed his fighting style drastically instead of being aggressive he started countering and being more passive, yet still surpassed all that faced him.

Some guys are just so above the rest.. I wish we had more like that in modern mma.
