Europeans Brackets up!

Thanks! I was hoping to see Satoshi x JT Torres but they're on opposite sides of the leve key.

Got to say there are a large number of divisions with nobody I recognise. In fact only Light, Middle and Heavy have names I know.
 
yup, there are a only a few names I recognize at BB

also GB seems to have a shit ton of schools in Europe

Big fan of Pedro Torres, brown pena. Last year he won Europeans (purple) and only lost to Grippo (pans/worlds) and Miyao (Abu Dhabi Pro) in the finals of each event, and only by advantages/judges decisions. His finish rate is incredibly high and he doesn't play the points game.
 
Picks:

Galo: No idea
Pluma: Carlos Vieira Holanda
Pena: Bruno Frazzato
Leve: JT x Langhi in the Final, I would think. But Satoshi (particularly) and Ed Ramos might make it interesting.
Medio: Another hard one. Octavio seems to have vanished all of a sudden. Not sure why. Go Jimmy Harbison vs. Victor Estima in the final.
Meio-Pesado: Hard to pick. Big names would be Marcos Souza, Eliezer Skaf (Brown Belt Worlds Silver Medallist at Medio) Nivaldo Lima and Gustavo Junqueira. Gustavo and Nivaldo probably the men with the best form in the division.
Pesado: Rodolfo is gonna be hard to beat.
Super-Pesado: Ridiculous division. Bernardo on form, but won't fight Leo if they make the final, so could be very short indeed. If Lagarto beats Leo, then he likely has to go through Bernardo straight after. Nasty setup. @_@
Pesadissimo: Alexander Trans in first big comp at black belt. Not sure if he has the experience to win yet, but he has the game, so might have a good shot at it. Then again, you also have Thiago Gaia, Thiago Borges, Hakim Gouram...tonnes of good guys, really. Trans will have something to prove, but competitive division.
 
Looking forward to Lovato v Rodolofo in the heavies.
