If it wasn't for Northern Ireland, Britain would walk off the table ages ago.
The bill will be paid even if it was £90 billion.
Northern Ireland is dragging entire UK down during these Brexit talks.
And answer is very simple. Any further deal agreed between EU and UK will be in effect once the Brexit bill is paid.
ROI and NI dont want hard border at all cost. If that happens as a result of UK leaving the table, they risking NI to unify with Ireland at some point in future. Not mentioning the anger for the Westminster for leaving negotiation table without a deal.
Well played EU, well played. But maybe it will be better for UK to just cut NI loose anyway.
