Ronda's a fraud. That should have been painfully evident after the Holm fight. Not because she lost, but HOW she lost and how terrible she looked.

Ronda is kind of like a scripted WWE champion who sells tickets well. Only instead of fake matches, you lean the match-ups in her favor so she keeps winning and you do everything in your power to keep her away from people (Cyborg) who will expose the woman behind the curtain.

Ronda was/is a for-profit hype train that delivered extremely well until it ran out of fuel. The UFC made a huge amount of money, women had their new heroine, and Ronda became really famous.

It's over now. It's done. Ronda can't compete with serious WMMA opponents who are not easily thrown and who can strike.

Hype trains often derail. They just don't always derail so violently, suddenly and completely as Ronda's did.

Ronda and Conor are like the prototypes of what WME-IMG/UFC wants to do with their fighters.

Learning takedowns is not that difficult. She has never even tried one. People may talk shit about Jones but that motherfucker is basically a kickboxer now. He is a student of the game and progresses. Regardless of personal shit. Ronda never gets any better and that is why she is so uninspiring.

And the psychology. How much has Sonnen embarrassed himself? But there he is confident and making good points. He can laugh at himself. He can make his losses into a stand up routine. Rousey cannot do that. Sonnen has the attitude of a winner even when he loses. He is actually one of the most humble guys in defeat.

Learning to strike is her issue. She basically can't strike at all, which is a shame since she has real power.

Jones is a Greco guy. Most of his takedowns are upper body takedowns or executed out of the clinch. It's not like he initiates all of his takedowns in open space and they're all leg attacks.

You can learn leg attacks, but it's not as easy as snapping your fingers and making that a comprehensive part of your game.
