Horrible fight by Silva. He should be cut immediately. He had 2 lucky shots to the body and that's it.

He has bad fight IQ and cardio is lacking .... Brown's weakness is the ground game and getting into a brawl with him is a bad idea

He forgets how to MMA when he gets in trouble.

    He's a front runner.

Once you get hit as much as he did in the head, you don't even know what a gameplan is. You really think he was fighting like that just because...?

He had a good plan. He knows Brown is susceptible to body shots. He nearly finished the fight with them. Then he did what he always does, and threw the game plan out the window.

Ridiculously talented, he just doesn't have the right mentality for it.

He seems to have no idea what to do when someone presses the action. You wouldn't think it would be an issue, as he's a black belt in judo and the clinch shouldn't be a big deal. He's like a deer in head lights though.

He needs to stop training with Wallid Ismail, and switch to Nova Uniao or maybe a reputed camp in the States. He has potential but I think his current coaches are not making the best out of him

Huh? Silva tried from the very start to take it to the ground. Brown reversed his first takedown attempt, and once Erik did get it to the ground Brown survived his ground onslaught.

He's an excellent fighter and his fights are always exciting. He just doesn't have the cardio needed
for this level. He's a great striker when he's not gassed as you could have seen in the first. He drops guys quickly. He wasted a lot of energy for that fail RNC attempt in the first and after that he was done. But what a chin and heart he showed. Sometimes I ask my self if it's worth it, he could spare himself getting beaten for almost another two rounds.

After he gassed, he was dominating when they were fresh. But that is no excuse, any elite fighter should be able to go harder longer than 3 minutes. Props to both of them for being tough as fuck.

He accepted a brawl with a self proclaimed TECHNICAL BRAWLER, definetelly no fight IQ at all. And after so much head strikes I fear that he may lost a few IQ points after that probable concussion.

Silva is a very good fighter and I agree his cardio is pretty bad for a pro.
But its down to his style, durable guys are always gonna cause him trouble cos he goes all out when he has someone hurt.
