Who wins this fight? Bryan Caraway is pretty underrated due to the combined hate of his personality and his relationship with Miesha Tate, but he's pretty damn good. 3-1 in the UFC his only loss being a split decision to Takeya Mizugaki (Who's close to a title shot), 16 submission wins in his 18 fight career.

Erik Perez is a young guy with a bright future out of Jackson's. He's posted a 4-1 record in the UFC with his only loss being another split decision to Takeya Mizugaki. He's got a lot of punching power for 135 pounds and his willingness to brawl makes him a fan favorite.

My opinion? I love Perez but Caraway is crafty and is gonna wear down El Goyito for two grapple heavy rounds and sink in a choke come the third. I'd love to see Erik get the KO victory but I don't think he gets it done. Caraway showed in the Gagnon fight he can weather the early storm and come on strong when it matters.

Perez has a chance to hurt him early and swarm him to get the finish ala Brandao in TUF, but I think Caraway has improved a lot and will pick his spots on the feet and get takedowns to wear Perez down and eventually get a RNC/win a close decision.

El Goyito takes this tilt via strikes. Look to see an explosive and aggressive finish. It's gunna be a bad night for Caraway. El Goyito wants the win more.

Depends, on a scale of 1 to 10 how shitty is Meisha's advice in the corner?

If it's Erik St. Perez from the fight with Figueroa (lots of takedowns and grappling) I think he'll be more than prepared for whatever Mr. Tate throws at him on the ground.

Maybe if we had some pics of both their missus's we could get an idea of how manly they are. Then we could judge who would win.

Dont see how Bryan should not win this one. If not hit with a haymaker that is.

I agree with Caraway being underrated, very crafty guy on the ground. Taking Caraway by 2nd round sub.

Im actually kinda surprised they are giving Perez this fight, thought they would give him a more winnable fight so he can be on a streak going into the Mexico card, like they did with KG.
