There's been an outcry recently that only 7 out of 900 students were that made it into Stuyvesant school in New York. It's the top elite school in the entire state of New York. Even Alexandria Ocasio Cortez cried afoul when the numbers came out.

The way these schools work is that you have to rank among the highest on their testing system and that's after passing the test to even try out for these elite schools, Stuyvesant being the best out of them all.

AOC complained that the majority of New Yorkers are either or latino, but 75% of those who got into Stuyvesant are Asian descent. She mentioned systemic prejudices, but it was found out that even the majority of the Asian students who got into Stuyvesant are from low income families.

she wants the Stuyvesant demographics to reflect that if the state's demographics and not have one particular group hog up the majority of the school.

Current liberals have been brainwashed to believe that if a society cannot guarantee equality in outcome, that that serves as proof of racism.

What are dems gonna do about the size of my dick, gadamnit!

Its a private school, they're allowed to have whatever entrance requirements they want. If you can't pass the test, you don't get in.

If the OP's assessment is accurate and a huge portion of the people in this school are from low income Asian families, both racism and classism seem to be tough to stick...

In cases like this, it would be nice to see how many people get in not just on their merits but rather on nepotism/donations/whatever. If it's a sizable percentage, then there is something to be concerned about. Otherwise? What can you do other than solve inequality by injustice.

the said the same thing about the voice a couple weeks ago and guess who they brought back

I think part of that depends on the loans the students take out as well. There’s a well regarded college here that would be considered right thinking and they have fought different issues like this and usually win because they are completely separated from government funding, both with the school and how students pay.

Those Asians need to check their yellow privilege. Just because they are more intelligent it doesn't mean they should score better on tests! As a matter of fact, people with Downs are also underrepresented in the universities, we should do something about that as well.

Equality of outcome is what SJWs always cry and attack others about. They talk about opportunity only when it comes to aiding invaders to your country.

Being a Christian I obviously subscribe to neither.

Pass the test or fuck off.

The tests are the same for everyone. If they didn't pass they should've studied harder. It obviously doesn't have anything to do with skin color. The only racist person here is Cortez.

Equality of outcome is ridiculous.
This video says it all.

They should let minorities in who can’t pass, rack up debt, and then drop out. That way they owe money and didn’t get a degree. Best of both worlds.

Maybe if they spent more time working and learning instead of crying they could get in.
