Unified rules favor wrestlers a lot. That

Jose Aldo is the only Brazilian fighter holding the UFC belt. Others holding the belt are: Johnson, Dillashaw, Pettis, Hendricks, Weidman, Jones, Cain.
That list also shows the biggest problem, 7 out of the 8 belts are held by Americans (8 out of 9 if you include Honda). Will Americans dominate the UFC the next ... years? And if so, do you guys know why? Is it because most events are held in America (home adventage), is it because the sport is the biggest in America, or is it because the sport is so dwarfish in the rest of the world?
Where your from doesn't mean shit. Those guys are just better fighters then what Brazil has now, and I do mean NOW. When I was a kid, the idea of a foreigner holding the HW boxing title was ridiculous. Now? The idea of anyone but the Ukranian bros having it seems ridiculous. Just because we are on top now doesn't mean we will be when your kids are older. People have short memories in sports. One minute it's a Brazillian dominated sport and then the next, even though they produced some of the best fighters we've ever seen, they all suck. They were overrated. No, that's never the case. An fighter who happened to be American had their number. I wanted Rashad to keep the LHW title for a long time, I liked his style. He lost it the next bout to a Brazillian. Is Rashad a shitty fighter? No, he just got caught by another great fighter. This is about fighters, not the countries. You wanna root for countries go watch soccer. I like Gus because he's an awesome fighter. I like Anderson because he's one of the GOAT's. Brazil will have champions and so will we and everyone else. That's the difference between MMA and NFL,NBA, and MLB. When a UFC champion declares he's world champion it's because he's beaten fighters from around the world.

i don't understand why everyone seems to be willing the end of Brazilian dominance... is it just a nationalistic pride thing?
i honestly don't even think about where a fighter is from when they are fighting.
Maybe I should have used an expression you'd understand.
King me.
Kids over here playing checkers, I'm playing chess.
That's why I said that. Nearly every Scandinavian that I know is a hipster with this view on the world. "Ohhh it's not right to feel patriotic.", "Patriotic people are retarded." and stuff like that. It's sad, they've been PCd and feminized beyond belief. I call all hippies and hipsters commies :icon_chee
