I would point out as well that a lot of people who are critical of others calling out early GOATs seem to be doing the same with Cruz as well off the back of a close decision with Dillashaw.

It's time to stop overhyping aesthetic styles in general. Almeida should never have been considered way better than Caraway (I know they didn't fight, but that was an almost universal unjustified opinion on here when Almeida was nothing more than an unproven flashy prospect) for example.

Unaesthetic styles are every bit as legit as aesthetic ones. 99% of the time those hyped up flashy guys are not really that much better than the best non-flashy guys in their division lol.

It's not off the back of the Dillashaw decision, Cruz never lost the belt.
