Emile Hirsch gets jail time for putting a studio exec in a choke/body slamming her

This might be bad for his career.

He's a good actor and has had some good roles. Into the Wild and Lords of dog town just to name two.
 
He was good in Lone Survivor, Girl next door, and lords of Dogtown. Pretty sure he had some pretty big roles coming up as well. This will probably fuck that up.

Yea, IRC, he pretty much got lucky getting his first movie role. Was hired by a guy on set to help with his coke addiction and then was spotted by an old buddy from prison. that buddy happened to work in film and gave him a role helping Eric Roberts train to be a boxer for the movie.
 
Absolute joke of a "punishment." Plea deals like this are so ridiculous its not even funny.

I wonder what provoked this whole situation? Nothing justifies it, i'm just curious.
