Jake Ellenberger, spoke with Mike Chiappetta for FOX Sports, and Ellenberger too thinks that Rousey would be competitive in the UFC men's bantamweight division.

"Oh, yeah. She could and she would," said Ellenberger. "I've known her for a few years but what really stands out with her is she works harder than most people in this sport. Male or female, it doesn't matter. She's always in the gym whether she has a fight coming up or not. And it shows. There's no secret to success but hard work, and she's one of the hardest-working people in the sport in my opinion. That's really what's stuck in my head from being around her. But she's very skilled and very strong and she throws everyone. She absolutely could beat a lot of the guys in that division."

    The lower end guys, maybe.

You put her in with Barao, Faber, Cruz and the like she'll be humiliated.

No she wouldn't. The worst male UFC BW fighter would smash her, easily.

lol he'd cut him after a win if necessary

Dana would have found a reason to ban Edmond too but it is pretty obvious that Edmond is friendzoned a this point.

This. These 'Ronda v male fighters' threads should all be Wastelanded as they go under 'fantasy matchups'.

I wonder if he honestly believes this. There are many athletes who really don't understand their sport, but are good at it. And many good coaches, who were never good players.

Anyone who really thinks Rousey would be competitive with men her size, doesn't understand the sport on its most basic level.

Ugh...it's sad how many of these threads pop up on this site. Ellenberger and other ufc fighters talk up rousey to get brownie points with dana white. Rousey cannot beat any professional fighting men. Men are more powerful than women; its science...deal with it.

The obvious match to make here is Ronda vs Bryan Caraway.

Shertards know better than the pro fighter who is ranked top 10 in his division and has trained with Ronda.

Ugh... Part of me would like to see it happen just so we can be done with this nonsense.
