Interesting story, I was sparring the other day at my club very light 50% with headgear and 16 oz gloves. I had a dude on the ropes and was throwing 4 punch combos. I have sparred with this dude many times and he has an iron chin. I threw the typical jab, jab ,cross, hook combo and the hook was way short. What ended up happening was my elbow clipped his chin and man did he ever drop. His chin had swollen three times the size and later we found it to be fractured. I am going to work on throwing short elbows from now on!!!!!!!!.

Mackz, come on man, obviously it's not good that his sparring partner got hurt, but don't tell me you've never been in a situation like that where, even though you feel bad, you get a little ego boost from seeing what you're capable of.

Yeah! Great job! Maybe next time you can break his spine! (you'll have to use the backbreaker)

(I learned it from Guile)

I dont know, I prefer the suplex he does, as that will also damage the spine

So why are elbows like baseballbats again?

oh there's this new martial art that uses elbows AND knees. it's called muay thai, maybe you've heard of it.

Lol..I was just kidding around, I just find it funny that he has to come on here telling us that he injured his sparring partner via elbow...He will most likely do it again, because he's ignorant. Just read the last sentence. Of course they were just doing some light boxing and he will be the douche bag that throws fake elbows to your face to piss you off.

Hell no, the backbreaker (I'm referring to the aerial one, of course) was >>>>>>>>>>> the suplex. Then again, the suplex was a lot easier to pull off. Maybe that's why you prefer it (noob).

Because -- because -- they hit you like... BAM! BAM!!!!! And they're ouchie.

BANG BANG BANG!! there goes his jaw!

Hopefully he drops you next sparring session with a kick to the head just under your headgear.

why?
it didn't sound like he did it deliberately

Ive always thought trying to knockout your sparring partner on light days is like trying to sack the quarterbacvk in practice...bad form...

and im pretty sure elbows are illegal in amatuer rules muay thai. I wouldnt be supried if he has something planned next time you guys spar 50%.
