Regarding the latter; What you don't know cant hurt you.
The UFC may know of these results and just sit quiet and dont allow them to get out until afterwards. Or they may even choose to have these labs/commissions hold off on reporting these test results to them until later just in-case they are unfavorable results Not sure what to believe, but either way is dishonest business, but of course favorable business (profitable) for them.
I have began to wonder regarding these last PPV events that if the main attractions (fighters) weren't the main event fighters would the UFC have conveniently found out about these results AFTER the events. Each of these resent positive test had been administered/drawn a good month before the fight. And in the same have taken a month to be reported. I'm no lab technician or medical expert, but I have to wonder how long does it take for these samples to be tested and reported. I mean do you believe this process takes a month? I know when I have my annual physical I find out my blood and urine sample results the following week.
I believe what it amounts to is business (profits). There is no revenue made in cancelled PPV events due to loss of main event/attractions. In fact I'd believe that situation would be a loss for the UFC because they'd still have to pay the fighters that were scheduled on the card that didn't get in trouble. Therefore I believe the UFC chooses not to allow these positive test results out until after these events.
