You all have some weird ass form of Stockholm syndrome, or something. We were prisoners of his stupidity.
Good riddance.

Someday lutefisk from the home country. Grandmother went back over and loved it. Though she skipped the lutefisk.Over here, we usually just call that "American". I hope you'll come visit, though. Roots and stuff.
This is pretty off topic, but why was Ryan Hall such a big deal like 7-8 years ago? I was looking at the threads about hayliks and everyone was all over his dick. I saw him roll last year against some local black belts and yeah he won, but it wasn't anything crazy.

You know all the guys now who are doing BJJ full time? You know all the videos about them, documenting their routines, interviews with them, etc.?
Ryan Hall was like the one of the first ones ever to do this in America. He was a blue belt beating black belts. This was back before people realized that blue belts who train all the time can beat black belts who train twice a week.
Personally I think the entire modern day full time medal chaser concept can be traced back to Ryan's success. Ryan might not have been the very first one, but he was the first one that got super well known for doing it. The rest is history.
Things were different. Ryan was a big deal. He was a pioneer.
Rj, you know you could always jump on Einarr's funeral pyre like a good norse wife, if you're that attached.
Wow that's pretty awesome. I started in 2009-2010 and was always pretty casual and I'm just starting to get into it so I always heard his name floating around, but didn't really know what he was about. Thanks

looking through the old hayliks posts it is a bit depressing. this place is not the same (as good as) back then.
i say it is a small community of people left on here and it sucks that einarr is gone.
not sure why you are happy about other than being a sucker of *****
