Every single opponent of Conor's with the exception of Dennis Siver has talked in a more arrogant and dismissive way of Conor than he has of them. Why then, is Conor hated for his cockiness while his opponent's arrogance is never noted?

What makes this hypocrisy even more bewildering is the fact that Conor does it for financial gain, strictly business, but the likes of Eddie appear genuinely angry and hateful. So why does Eddie get a free pass? Is it because he's not that good and so his predictions are laughed off while Conor backs up his talk, forcing the haters to take his words more to heart?
