Edson Barboza now training with Frankie Edgar

Smarter move for Edgar to train with Barboza because Aldo is going to be chopping them legs and Barboza is pretty good at doing that himself.
 
Yeah that was a good move by Frankie bringing a good striker like Barboza, he was brought in especially for leg kicks.

Nah man IMO Frankie has the perfect skill set that Barboza needs to focus on getting himself, as well as being the perfect size to match speed/strength. AKA is IMO more for WWs + HWs, and Blackzilians is almost the same but focusing on LHWs. Not saying that these camps don't have lighter fighters but the majority of big name fighters are from heavier weight classes.

that's a huge move for both guys, Edgar learning how to fight a similar stand up guy to Aldo doesn't hurt, and Barboza getting a bunch of top BJJ, boxing, and wrestling training partners will do wonders for him

this, an AKA and Blackzillians seems way to overpopulated for the time being, Frankie's one of the best smaller fighters in the world, and Barboza gets to work directly with him a couple of times a day, that's much better then being just another guy at AKA or Blackzillians
 
Good on Edson, hope to see him develop further
 
It's a win win situation for both. They would help each other step up their game for sure. And also for Edgar to be prepared with Aldo

Aside from an upkick there was hardly any ass kicking going on even if Bendo DID win the fight.

It amazes me how much people just look at someone's face to decide who's winning the fight.

That fight was hardly a one-sided beatdown that people make it out to be.....
