It was disappointing to see that after this year off that Ronda had not worked on her takedowns and Judo as her primary strategy - it's a great combo. Edmond has really failed Ronda. She is a Judoka and her skill set is never promoted. It's MMA, but her main weapon was not utilized under Edmond.
Dana could have easily give Werdum his 300 / 500 / 800 k or whatever he wanted from the 3 Millions they gave Ronda lol. Rouseys downfall is one of the greatest things in the near past ever happened in MMA. Such a joy to witness it. Ronda is such a sore loser.
It's kinda like when Maia tried to be K1 Maia... Very few grapplers can master striking and vice versa. To be fair, Ronda tried to clinch a couple times, but Nunes just pushed her away. Tbh I think Ronda needs to learn to shoot a double leg. People have been studying her judo for a while.
I don't think u understand that Ronda brings in 1 million buys, and Werdum brings in 1k buys. In terms of skills and quality Ronda should be a free on Fox fight, but she has a large following which bring in a lot of money and makes her more valuable asset.
It was over from the first 1-2. Amanda could of probably lit her up on the ground after scrambling her eggs anyway. Nice to see her tell it like it is.
I really believed Ronda would go straight to her Judo and throw Amanda down but after the first punch it was pretty apparent that Ronda felt even more power than Holme, she then seemed too panicked to go for a legitimate takedown. Amanda explained it best about Edmond, Ronda is a big girl though and blame cannot really be on Edmond for the loss.
