Edgar vs Aldo = Top 5 Greatest Fights of All Time

Aldo is a complete fighter and extremely gifted. His strikes do ridiculous amounts of damage. Edgar is fearless, has incredible heart, and fights through damage and make insane comebacks. Edgar can't lose this fight because he's running out of options.

Anyway, I see shit getting real in this one. I can't wait to see how this plays out. I'm guessing this fight is something future generations know about and MMA junkies refer to as classic. Am I accurate here, or will I be disappointed in the end?

I agree with you. I sort of wish Edgar had a fight or two at FW before this one, but it's an awesome fight any way you slice it. Stylistically, I think these guys are going to bring the best out of one another.

I don't think it's likely. Aldo is an potent finisher and if there's one dude he'll have a hard time finishing it's Edgar. Urijah managed to walk out conscious, I have a feeling Edgar will also stay alive at least til the 4th or to the decision.

Of course anything can happen but I think we're going to get at least 2 really good rounds.

Pre-fight, for those who know MMA, can't argue that this is one of the most exciting fights in MMA history. I do agree it's top 5. It's just under Fedor/Cro Cop, Sonnen/Silva II and JDS/Cain I I think.

I would agree it has that type of potential. Sometimes fights live up to the hype around them and sometimes they dont. They are both always in great fights so I cant see how it doesnt end up being awesome
