MMA world is small. Everybody knows everybody. There would be way too many accusations of bias.

Just be smart about who gets chosen, they would have months to choose the judges. 1 ju-jitsu dude, 1 kickboxing dude, 1 wrestle dude etc, Should throw in more judges and also the non commentated video judges on top, rogans always banging on about having like 10 judges, not heard a good argument against it so far.

Horrible idea. You'd have guys like Chuck who only score for guys that want to swing for the fences..

MMA criteria needs to be more simple since they don't know how to score a fight with too many scoring variables.

Yes, it's laid out in detail, but its' that the judges CANNOT comprehend it and use things like "octagon control" to score a round even when there was an extremely obvious difference in strikes landed/damage done.

The judging criteria says the that octagon control only is considered if effective striking/ grappling is equal and then aggression to finish is equal. That’s very clear in the criteria. His excuse wasn’t about what constitutes an effective strike or how to weigh a strike vs grappling situation which. He did not read the criteria.

Hiring people with a lifetime of CTE and steroid abuse will not lead to better judging in MMA.

Last nights result was fine. Jon Jones is a true champion.

Usually id say its a terrible idea but judging is so awful that it cant get worse than that. So i will agree with him.


That said, there were no robberies last night. Latifi and Reyes didnt do enough to get that win.
