Champion : Anthony Pettis
1 Gilbert Melendez
2 Khabib Nurmagomedov
3 Rafael dos Anjos
4 Benson Henderson
5 Donald Cerrone
6 Josh Thomson
7 Bobby Green
8 Jim Miller
9 Myles Jury
10 Michael Johnson
11 Edson Barboza
12 Rustam Khabilov
13 Jorge Masvidal
14 Eddie Alvarez

I'm only voting for who I truly believe he defeats and now who I think he would defeat.

I don't know if he can defeat 1-4 or Thomson.

I do believe he will beat Cerrone and the rest of the LW division.

he has a tendacy to get dropped and hurt, which could severely hurt his chances of beating guys like cerrone, pettis, rda, etc

Not since three years ago and before he trained under the same striking coach as Tyrone Spong and Vitor Belfort, but nice try.

Eddie is the best boxer in the LW division bar none and should make serious waves in the UFC. I think his fight with Cowboy won't be very long and is going to shock a lot of people.

I think he wrecks Cerrone. Cowboy is a slow starter too

he didn't get hurt at all in the chandler fights or the pitbull fight?

Yep, I'm thinking Alvarez can overwhelm him early on before he can find a chance to adjust, kinda like what Pettis did. He is also a good wrestleboxer and should be able to set-up takedowns with his hands.

The only two that I'm pretty sure he wouldn't beat are Pettis and Khabib. To be fair, I'm not even that sure about Pettis.

There was a time when knocking Eddie down 3 times in one fight was fashionable, probably when he fought back in Dream, but not anymore.

Michael Chandler is a really good fighter but most of the damage he did in that fight came early on where he bullrushed Eddie and didn't give him a chance to breathe. He was arguably down on the cards when he got that choke.

I also don't recall Pitbull doing much to Eddie beyond tagging him a couple times, but I mean, everyone gets hit. Cerrone was getting outstruck pretty clearly by Barboza, who himself fell prey to the wrestleboxing of Jamie Varner, and look how that fight played out.

I think he has a very good chance against anyone but Khabib and Pettis, those would be tough fights. I see him having the potential to be a Top 3 or at least Top 5 lightweight consistently.

Yea I agree. I think Eddie wins the UD 30-27 then calls out Gil and Pettis. Gil vs Eddie is definitely the fight I want to see.

Are you serious? Khabib doesn't get TDs by knocking you down with a forcefield from six feet away. He has to hug you first.

Bearing that in mind, a grappler with little striking or effective footwork is probably the best possible match-up for Eddie. I have been saying that Eddie is the guy to derail that train for months now, and I believe that you all will be surprised by how on point his jabbing and footwork looks against Cowboy.

Think he beats basically everyone bar

Pettis
Melendez
Rda
Bendo
Khabib

I think him and Melendez would be like him vs chandler an awesome fight,he may be able to get the better of bendo on the feet,i think pettis destroys him on the feet,Rda im not sure how it would go,and would be interesting to see him fight Khabib.

Id love to see Alvares vs Melendez or diaz the most though

I'd really like to see Eddie vs RDA for some reason.

He'd probably get smashed by anyone in the top 5. Getting beat up by Michael Chandler who lost recently to some random guy tells you about the state of Bellator's LW division.

I have serious doubts that Alvarez can get past Cerrone. He's got a weak chin + Cerrone has sick finishing ability when someone is hurt = bad matchup for Alvarez.
