UFC doesn’t have any control over that, because they actually have a commission in place that regulates what they do.

ONE on the other hand probably has no commission regulating and therefore can basically do whatever they want. Kinda sketch.

Will UFC right the wrong and follow the suit in Yan vs Aljo case? This seems like a fair deeds and makes common sense. Most fans and MMA dawgs will agree except for the "Looser" in this - The fake champ Aljo. Discuss.

No.

I could see something like Frank Shamrock v Renzo Gracie (the meaty part of Frank's thigh hit Renzo in the back of his head while he was on top of Frank in half guard, and Herb Dean called it a foul and the doc claimed Renzo couldn't continue) being changed to a NC. But not that Yan knee. No way, no how.

The Ref did a poor job is one the main reasons.

Eddie did as well IMO and took advantage of the position.

hard to believe that you've fought all these years including training and had Zero idea his head was turned.

Also if you had zero idea where his head was then slamming punches in that direction was just stupid as you put yourself in DQ danger.

Ref dropped the ball mainly though

It's obvious you've never been in an actual fight.

I think that disqualifications should not count for title shots.
The champion should retain his/her belt, and an immediate rematch should ensue though.

Not a fan of Aljo....but Yan was dead wrong in this example. No getting around it.
Yan was wrong, no question, but granting Aljo a WIN on his record is wrong too. the only case the Win is debatable IF Aljo was winning on judges records. not even close. WIN is a fucken WIN, not because the other dude fucked up. please separate the two: one did wrong (Yan), the other one did NOT WIN (Aljo). Capisce?

that's your stupidity shinning so bright

you can't tell when a guy turns his head against yours ?

let alone know that if you throw "blind" punches you have a chance of hitting back of head ?

You can give him benefit of doubt if youd like but dirty alvarez been a cheap fighter

When you cheat, you lose. Aljo won because his opponent cheated. Capisce?

I stand by my statement. It really is obvious.
