Strange for Ed to leave Bellator after a great KO but he probably wanted to test the free-agent waters.. looks like got handed a defeat though..

Anyway, he should put on some more exciting fights for Bellator!

So he left Bellator, lost in a show called Mexico Fighter, and then resigned with Bellator. LOL.

^ya pretty much. I had high hopes that maybe he would end up in a TUF or sign with WSOF to fight Moraes but after that loss im surprised they brought him back. Then again they dont have many BW's.

Good for him, it's too bad he's coming off a loss after his last Bellator win though. They should sign the guy that beat him, but UFC likely will because he's Mexican and they're going to go on a signing spree soon.

Didnt even realize he lost a fight, guess he didnt get the offers from other orgs he thought he would get or losing in another org killed any interest from other orgs.

Now he has to go back to Bellator and work his way up.

Wasnt he the one who asked for his release from Bellator?

Don't mind the signing. But if they are gonna re-sign a guy in that division it should be JImmie RIvera, outside of Thomas Almedia I think Jimmie is the best out there at 135

I don't remember him ever asking for a release or i didn't even know he was released. I just figured his time in Bellator ran out.

Oh well, cool they brought him back after a loss. He had some pretty solid fights for them. Inaugural BW tourny fighter.

I'm a fan of Ed West. Didn't know he had lost in some regional promotion, still excited to see him back.

Admittedly I forgot all about him, but the dude is legit, like a mini Cowboy Cerrone who always comes to bang. War "Wild" West!

His striking isn't as good nor is his grappling and he doesn't have near the finishing power but other than that.... Yes he's a smaller less talented Cowboy Cerrone.
